Psychotherapy

I use to believe if I set my mind to anything I could achieve it. And I did, for the most part. But then I started working on improving my mental health and I was left stumped. And most days, I still am. But then I met Emma and she has been one of the best things to happen to me. When I am sad about something, she gives me a shoulder to cry on. When I am being stubborn, she ferociously challenges my beliefs. When I can’t figure out why I react the way I do, Emma turns into a pattern-hunting ninja and fills me in with her insightfulness. When I tell her I want to quit therapy, she becomes vulnerable and urges me to stay. i think, every now and then, we all feel like life has dealt us a bad hand BUT in those moments I try to remind myself that it also gave me an ace of spades in the form of Emma.

Play Therapy Supervision

Emma provides professional, relevant and caring guidance and support as a supervisor. She is knowledgeable and approachable. Emma continues to help and guide me in developing my own play therapy practice, and I highly recommend her to other therapists who are in need of professional support and supervision.

Parent Coaching

I highly recommend Raising the Brave. Through the programme I have seen my child grow in resilience and confidence and I am a better Mum. I feel that it has given me a framework to make sense of things and then to use that understanding and insight to find a way forward. This kind of lasting change takes time and small steps, it is a hard journey and it’s good to know you have someone in your corner who will meet you where you are and help you find the next step. Hearing from other parents has helped to validate my experience as a parent. Emma has an in depth, up to date knowledge and relevant personal experience. I feel seen and heard and I am not alone. I am grateful to myself for joining this course.

I am so grateful to have been recommended this course!
Navigating life with a child who experiences extreme anxiety can be a very lonely and stressful journey. This course provides not only informative content about the physiology of anxiety in all it's aspects and update understanding of how to support your child with it. You are also able to learn at your own pace whilst being closely supervised and provided with tailored, non-judgmental support throughout. The coaching and online classes provide opportunity to meet families facing similar challenges which gives you a sense of not being alone which is invaluable.

We came to Emma for help with our Son who suffers with anxiety, hyper sensitivity and anger outbursts. The course alone is amazing, its helped us explain to our son that his feelings are normal and helped him to deal with them and be calm. It hasn't just helped us with our son though and has helped us with all our five children and I can honestly say that we have become better parents because of it. Emma has helped us handle our own anxiety and feelings of overwhelm. I can see that she cares about all the people she helps and I never felt judged. You defiantly need to put in the effort though, the more you apply yourself the more you and your family will benefit.
